We did quite a few projects for Martini Bay --several spots as well as a numerous occasional graphics. Throughout all of them, we tried to maintain several consistent themes while still allowing for a unique tone for each.
A small adertising agency in Arizona, IO Unlimited wanted an animated version of their logo to place at the beginning of commercials --something that would impress their clients.
It was still over 100 degrees as the sun was going down, so that glistening on the grass is, more likely than water, the grass melting. And ducks? You think those are ducks there in the ad? It really is amazing what the heat will do to small children... Regardless of all that, all factors involved ended up making for a beautiful ad.
To show the effect of the store rather than the store itself is what we wanted to do with this project. We started this shoot early in the morning to keep the light as soft as possible (the light of 120 degree weather is not, as you can imagine, very... tropical.).
"Show up and shoot a Christmas-themed jewelry ad... in 30 minutes." So's what we did. It was a particularly tight schedule because we were also producing a due-tomorrow 10 minute video for Murphy Broadcasting at the same time.
Ancient film reels spinning around through black until lit by the spark of Production Specialists --err, or something to same effect. Actually, these were made in the spare minutes between rendering and capturing for other projects.
Car ads can be fun. Really, the energy you, almost be default, have to put into them, the screaming, griming, pulling impact that goes into a modern car ad --it can be a alot of fun. But it can also be incredibly difficult to not go overboard.
Strings and Slippers was a local ballet performance that we filmed. To start the video off with a bit more than simple white on black text, we created this intro. A simple project, it was done entirely within After Effects in about 2 hours.
I've tried explaining this one. Really. There is a theory behind it, buried beneath --well, we can't know for sure, because those things a buried too.
